Pop Rock Disco

This quilt was born from a couple of sources. The “blast” part is borrowed from a block in another quilt I designed (but haven’t finished yet), and the disco ball was part of my study for my Thursday Night Fever quilt. I love black-and-white elements and how, when contrasted with batiks, can often create a lot of depth. It was designed in EQ8 and was mostly all assembled using foundation paper piecing. It was all free-motion quilted.
